Sticky Notes for Keyboard Cleaning:

Sticky notes are great for cleaning your keyboard. Simply fold a sticky note in half with the sticky side out, then run it between the keys to remove dust, crumbs and debris.

Rubber Bands for Improved Grip:

If you’re having trouble opening a stubborn jar or container, wrap a rubber band around the lid for extra grip. The rubber band provides traction and makes it easier to twist and open. You can also use rubber bands to provide a better grip and improve ergonomics on your pens and pencils. If your pen or pencil is too thin and uncomfortable to hold for long periods, wrap a rubber band around it.

Magnetic Clips for Organizing Metal Surfaces:

Magnetic clips are not just for holding papers. Attach them to metal surfaces such as whiteboards or filing cabinets to keep small things like keys, USB drives, or notes within easy reach.

Dry Erase Markers on Laminated Surfaces:

Use dry-erase markers on laminated surfaces such as laminated paper or plastic sheet protectors. This allows you to write and erase information multiple times without damaging the underlying material.

Paper Clips as Cable Organizers:

Unruly cables can be tamed using paper clips. Simply coil the cables neatly and secure them with a jumbo paper clip. This prevents tangling and keeps your workspace organized.

Sticky Notes as Bookmarks:

Here’s another use for sticky notes - and this is actually how the sticky note was first invented. Use them as bookmarks for your important pages. They are easily removable and won’t damage your books or documents. Now I know what you're thinking - there’s a product called a tape flag that is for this exact purpose - and you’re correct, but sticky notes have the added advantage that you can write quick notes or reminders on them as well.

DIY Notepads:

Gather scrap paper or used printer paper and cut it into smaller, uniform sizes. Stack the pieces together, aligning one edge, and secure them with binder clips or use glue to create your own custom notepad.

Binder Clips as Photo Holders:

Attach binder clips to a corkboard, bulletin board, or wall and clip your favorite photos, postcards, or notes onto them.

These hacks can help you stay organized, improve efficiency and make your work environment more functional. Try them and see how they can simplify your daily tasks!
