See What's Happening Inside the OEX Design Department!

Spring is here and furniture projects are hot right now! We have a lot going on in the Interior Design department and it is all about COLOR! We are seeing color pop up in all industry segments – from Education to Office to Health Care. Let’s take a look at some of the projects coming out of the design department.

The room pictured above is a lobby concept for a local law firm. They loved the pop of color and textures that are presented here. As you can see, we don’t just specify furniture in our department! Featured in this lobby is a multitude of products, from the textured stacked stone wall and floor tile to the light fixtures, plants, and artwork!
As designers, we love the opportunity to add COLOR and to personalize your space. We bring all the elements of design together. Color, pattern, and texture help to create a space that not only looks fabulous but also functions better. Color changes the mood of a space, which has a serious impact on productivity. Lately, we have been working in conjunction with several school districts to update their media centers. The renderings below are for several local schools that wanted a new look for their media centers. In these designs, we added artwork along with tons of color to bring new life into the rooms. These concepts feature new tables and chairs for the children along with some soft seating for them to settle in for reading.
The reception and workstation areas below are also a good representation of adding color to a space. Here our designers inserted a pop of color into the company’s neutral color palette.
