I was asked to write a blog on a furniture topic and I thought about it for a while, trying to decide what to write about.  I thought about all the questions I've taken from customers over the years and one thing popped right into my mind - chairmats.  Perhaps not the most riveting topic out there, but a necessary one I think.  I've worked in customer service for many years and I've lost track of the number of times I've explained how to choose a chairmat.  

Bring your pooch to work and let him enjoy all the attention your co-workers can shower on him. Your co-workers will benefit as well because research shows that petting a dog reduces stress - and we all have tons of stress at work, right?  (You know I'm right - even if you don't want to admit it.  Wait til your boss walks away and then you can say yes.)

 Post a pic of your furry friend and tell us a little bit about him.

Did you know that 82.6% of people can recall the company and brand on their promotional product? If you're not taking advantage of this opportunity, it's time for you to start getting your brand name out there for all to see!   Promotional products are a great way to get your company in front of people.  Everyone likes free gifts.  They're an introductory tactic, a way to get your foot in the door, a way to get the opportunity to bid on business with an existing client that they've never let you in on, etc.

For many people, one of the most frustrating things about working in an office is the paperwork - piles and piles of paperwork.  Some people like to have it out on their desk where they can see it so that they won't forget about it.  Others like to file it away and have a nice, neat, clean work surface.  They take papers out to use them and then file them back in the drawer when they're done.

Last week I wrote about a nifty little gadget that applies the reinforcement labels for you.   Today's topic is more smart binders and accessories to make your life easier.

There are tons and tons of different configurations of ring binder indexes for you to use to separate the contents of the binder.  But what if you don't want to separate them?  What if you don't want to put them on rings - you want them in the binder so that everything you need is in one place, but you want to be able to just grab them all at once and pull them out?
